There are a lot of DOC (controlled designation of origin) and DOCG (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin) world-wide-known wines that can be tasted along the Montello Wine Route and Asolo: Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris, Manoni Bianco, Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère, Bianchetta, Montello e Colli Asolani rosso, Montello e Colli Asolani bianco, Montello e Colli Asolani Venegazzù. Do not miss other wines produced by local winemakers such as Fragolino, Recioto and Verdiso. Among the typical seasonal products, it is worth mentioning the wide variety of local mushrooms, cheese, and salami which are mainly home-made by local farmers thanks to their expertise.
